Hey There

"As a neurodivergent psychologist, I bring both lived experiences and clinical insights to my work. I have a special interest in supporting autistic and ADHD adults in a way that affirms their strengths, needs, and identities. At the same time, I work with clients of all neurotypes, backgrounds, and identities, and I am passionate about creating a space at Black Feather Psychology where everyone feels safe to show up as they are".

About Maria

Maria is a warm and compassionate psychologist who supports clients in exploring their experiences, deepening self-understanding, and creating meaningful change aligned with their values. With a strengths-based, client-centred approach, Maria provides a safe and non- judgmental space where individuals can reflect, grow, and move at their own pace. She believes that meaningful change begins in a trusting therapeutic relationship - one where each person feels genuinely heard, respected, and understood. Her work is guided by a deep curiosity about each client’s inner world and a commitment to tailoring support to their unique needs and preferences. Maria recognises that wellbeing is shaped not only by individual traits, but also by the interaction between a person and their environment. Her approach focuses on fostering self-acceptance, building resilience, and helping clients identify the supports they need to thrive - honouring who they are, rather than trying to change them. She holds a Master’s degree in Psychology and has worked in both community and private practice settings, supporting clients with a wide range of concerns, including life transitions, conception and fertility challenges, anxiety, depression, identity and self-worth, stress and burnout, relationship difficulties, trauma, gender and sexuality, and body image. Maria works exclusively with adults and also offers sessions in Polish. She is committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and neurotypes feel respected, supported, and truly heard.
